From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

This is a pool for predicting the date at which the number of articles (as defined by the official article count presented on the Special:statistics) in the English Wikipedia reaches 2,000,000 (two million). The person who comes closest to the actual date is the winner (of eternal fame). The current number of articles in the English Wikipedia: 0.

Other milestone pools that are still open include the following: Wikipedia:Four-million pool, Wikipedia:Five-million pool, and Wikipedia:Eleventy-billion pool.

For a non-serious pool, see Wikipedia:Millionth topic pool.
