From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
I am Rob Brewer (http://www.rbrwr.org/) from Bristol, England. I am an Administrator of the English Wikipedia, and I mainly (used to) use my power to delete copyright violations. Since January 2005 I have reduced my activity on Wikipedia as I am working on a couple of Open University courses (MST121 (http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C01MST121_10_0) and MS221 (http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C01MS221_10_0), if you must know). I still keep a regular eye on my watchlist and try to do a little editing most days.
When I am active, I mostly do "janitorial" tasks, such as disambiguation, wikifying, fixing links, and keeping Wikipedia:Copyright problems in order.
My interests as a writer-editor include:
- British politics and the Liberal Party (I have a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Birmingham)
- my home city of Bristol, including a number of photographs.
- football, especially Bristol City F.C.
- the London Underground
- The Guardian and related people.
