My name is Joshua Gaines. I'm a grad student in political science at Texas Tech. I spend too much time on Wikipedia, though my contributions are rather small. I'm interested in Middle-Eastern politics, but I'm not jewish and I'm most definitely not a neocon. I friggin' hate Straussians. I support Israel, but I think it needs to be judicious with its use of force and I think the Palestinians need to accept Israel's right to exist. I also support Abu Mazen and Sharon's evacuation of Gaza. I'm a goddamned liberal, but I have an NRA sticker on my truck, right next to the ACLU sticker. I'm also a fierce supporter of free trade. I'm not a libertarian, because libertarians refuse to acknowledge the existence of market failure. In fact, libertarians piss me off, but not as much as Straussians.
