Hello, fellow autodidacts. (Current Wikipediholic score: 63) (Look here to see my favorite vandal comments, which were in response to my reverting changes here (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=French_Revolution&diff=12104736&oldid=12104700).)

During the daytime (and often into the night), I am a political reporter in Washington, D.C. So far I have been able to tamp down my desire to add myself to a List of newspaper writers. However, my will to resist such things is notoriously weak, so someone else might want to monitor this page.

I am a hedonist and a bit of a libertine at heart and am and quite sarcastic, but I cry at practically every episode of ER. I'm now living in the Mid-Atlantic, but my hometown is Pasadena, Texas. I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, where I spent more time working at The Daily Texan (http://www.dailytexanonline.com) than attending class. My GPA dropped a point, but hey, that real-world experience got me a job in the big city, so suck it. I love DC but I miss home.

I love beer, and can often be found on The Realbeer.com Community (http://www.realbeer.com), talking about -- what else -- beer. I also love politics, fighter jets, driving fast and all things related. I also like makeup. There, that should even things out.

In case you're curious, I'm a cold hard bitch who loves white rabbits; when you come over, you can leave your hat on (I don't give a damn about my bad reputation). And even though I'm a sophisticated lady, I'm still here for the party. Lord help me, I can't change.

Well-kept secret: I can play violin. Guilty pleasure: pulp fantasy novels, like this guy's (think more wizards & warriors, less Fabio).
