Me

I'm Ben Brockert. I live in Iowa, previously Kossuth, Iowa (near Mediapolis (north of Burlington)), now in Ames. I am occasionally a "returning student" of Computer Engineering at Iowa State University, though usually the proletarian life gets in the way. I am an urban explorer, a photographer, a professional pulse jet researcher, and I'm not good at any of it.

I made my first logged-in edit on April 6 2004, my 2000th edit on 20 November 2004, and my 4000th on 20 May 2005. I have 4098 edits (http://kohl.wikimedia.org/~kate/cgi-bin/count_edits.cgi?user=Brockert&dbname=enwiki) as of 08:22, May 22, 2005 (UTC). Editor 863/595 as of April 27 2005. My user page has been vandalized once.

On December 15 2004, the fine bureaucrat Cecropia promoted me to administrator (or custodian) per the will of 17 kind users, with no dissenting votes. I nominated myself as a birthday present to myself. That said, I'm a bit new at being an admin; if you see me misuse any of my powers, please call me on it.
