United States Strategic Command

United States Strategic Command is one of the unified commands of the United States Department of Defense which controls the nuclear weapons assets of the United States military. It is headquartered at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. One division, announced in 2005 is the Joint Functional Component Command for Network Warfare, which is responsible for protecting the computer network of the Defense Department and for launching attacks on other networks.
