UN Security Council Resolution 1583

United Nations Security Council Resolution 1583 calls on Lebanon to assert full control over its border with Israel (See: Hezbollah). It also explicitly states that the UN sees no merit in Lebanon's claim to Shebaa Farms . This measure was adopted in 28 January 2005.
