UKUSA Community

The UKUSA Community is an alliance of English-speaking nations for the purpose of gathering intelligence via signals intelligence. UKUSA is made up of:
- the United States, via the National Security Agency
- the United Kingdom, via Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ)
- Australia, via Defence Signals Directorate
- Canada, via the Communications Security Establishment
- New Zealand, via Government Communications Security Bureau
The primary purpose of UKUSA is to service the ECHELON monitoring system.
