Sevar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Sevar was a Bulgarian khan from ca. 9th century CE. The only information known today is from the Imennik, or list of Bulgarian Khans. He is recorded to originate from the royal family of Dulo (probably the grandson of the khan Asparukh). He is recorded to have ruled for 15 years.
Is it reported that his reign was probably peaceful, because the Byzantine chronicles do not report any events on the Empire’s northern borders from that period. According to historical patterns, is the most likely that if any events or conflicts had taken places, they would have been noted in Byzantine records.
