Location

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

  • In film, a filming location is a place where (part of) a film is shot. In contradistinction to a film studio or movie set a filming location is a real place (eg an actual cafe) rather than a set created by production designers.
  • In colloquial terms, the personal location of an individual is often expressed as "here", in which case the location may be a general reference to a vicinity or place where the individual can be found.
