Henning Berg

Henning Berg (born September 1, 1969 in Eidsvoll) is a former Norweigan football player, currently the manager of FC Lyn Oslo.

Henning was a very good center back. He was brought in by Manchester United from Blackburn Rovers in 1997. While at United, he helped the club two league titles (1997 and 1999), one F.A. Cup in 1999 and one Champions League in 1999. He scored three goals while at United.

Before coming to United, he played at Valerengen IF and Lillestrøm SK. In 2000, he was loaned back to Blackburn. In 2001, he moved permanently to Blackburn. In 2003, he retired. In his last appearance at Old Trafford, he scored a rare goal.

Berg was part of the Norwegian national team at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups, as well as Euro 2000, and was capped 100 times for his country.no:Henning Berg
