Lake Murray Country

Lake Murray Country is a large area of South Carolina, USA; the region is approximately 78 acres (0.3 km²) of water and 50,000 acres (200 km²) of land. Lake Murray's name comes from the chief engineer William S. Murray. The town's focal point is the dam. The dam supplies a large portion of the power to South Carolina. The dam was the largest stone dam in cubical content for power purposes in the world at its time of creation.
