Interstate 476
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
(Redirected from "Blue Route")
Blue Route is the nickname given to the portion of Interstate 476 between I-95 and I-76, running north-south through Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The portion south of the Route 3 interchange in Broomall is generally two lanes in each direction, and the portion north of that interchange is generally three lanes in each direction.
I-476 was extended north in 1996 along the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (formerly Route 9) to end at I-81 near Scranton. It is now the longest three-digit Interstate Highway.
